These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and any related communications or materials (collectively, the “Services”). By engaging with Ascensa Consulting, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
Ascensa Consulting provides personalized career and educational consulting services, including but not limited to admissions guidance, career coaching, document review, interview preparation, and strategic advising. All services are delivered on a consultation basis and are customized to each client’s individual needs. While we are dedicated to supporting your academic and professional development, we do not guarantee admission to any institution, job placement, or specific outcomes.
2. Mandatory Goal-Setting Session
All clients are required to complete a Goal-Setting Session before accessing any other service. This session is foundational and determines the structure and scope of all subsequent services. After the session, the client receives a tailored roadmap outlining the recommended services.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate, current, and complete information during all interactions with Ascensa Consulting. Any false or misleading information may compromise the effectiveness of our services. All submitted materials, including but not limited to resumes, personal statements, and transcripts, must be the client’s own or legally authorized for use. Ascensa Consulting does not write academic papers, motivation letters, cover letters, or similar documents on behalf of the client. Instead, we guide and support the client through these processes. The client must incorporate feedback provided during sessions to achieve a positive outcome. The client is also obliged to fill in the questionnaire before the goal-setting session as well as provide their CV (when available).
4. Intellectual Property
All content and materials provided by Ascensa Consulting - including documents, strategies, session notes, and website content - are the intellectual property of Ascensa Consulting and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Clients may not copy, distribute, reproduce, modify, or sell any of our materials without prior written permission.
5. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18 without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using our Services, you affirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. You agree not to use our Services for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that infringes upon the rights of others. Misuse of the Services, including harassment, fraud, or intellectual property violations, may result in immediate termination of access.
6. Modifications and Updates
Ascensa Consulting reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Your continued use of our Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The latest version of the Terms will always be available on our website.
7. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to ensure our Services are accurate and effective, we do not warrant that they will be error-free or uninterrupted. Ascensa Consulting is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use our Services.
8. Privacy
We respect your privacy and handle personal information per our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your data as described in that policy.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to their conflict of law principles. Any disputes related to these Terms or our Services shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
